Prize entry form. When you enter the Promptober prize drawing, we collect:
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, general location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.
If you leave a testimonial, we may share it publicly on our website or social media along with your first name or social media profile name. We will not publish your email, legal last name, age, address, or phone number.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to run Promptober:
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We keep prize entry information for up to 12 months after each year’s prize drawing so we can deliver prizes and keep basic contest records, after which it is deleted. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
Promptober is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us at ally@drawordieclub.com and we will delete it.
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing ally@drawordieclub.com. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under state law. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
